Each January we pack up out timber frame booth and set up in Atlanta at the Georgia International Convention Center, we spend the weekendtalking to folks about their homes. All are welcome to Moresun' 5th Annual Tour of Homes.

The tour is a self-guided open house featuring several timber frame buildings, some large and some small in Upstate South Carolina. The tour is from 10:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. You'll begin at the Moresun Shop and Morrison Home and work your way to our showcased projects from there. You may download directions here in PDF Format. Please ask questions as you go. If you are in the design phase, make notes of things you see that you like and dislike to keep in mind for your own timber frame home. Remember that MoreSun not only designs and builds timber frame homes; we also offer custom stairs, furniture, built-in cabinetry, porches, decks and out buildings. From Walhalla, SC Take Hwy 28 North. As you wind up the hill you will pass the U.S. Forest
Service office on your right. Start looking on the left for Whetstone Rd. Turn left on Whetstone Rd.
(at the Mountain Top Trading Post). After 1 mile turn left on Cassidy Bridge Rd. Go for several miles
and cross the Chauga River. Take next right onto Charlie Cobb Rd. We are the second drive on the
right. Two green mailboxes, # 465/463.

From Clayton, GA take Hwy 76 East which connects Clayton, GA to Westminster, SC and passes
through Long Creek, SC. From Long Creek turn left on Academy Rd (at Bucket T restaurant). At stop
sign, turn right on Cassidy Bridge Rd. After 1 mile, turn left on Charlie Cobb Rd. We are the second
drive on right. # 465/463 two green mailboxes.
